Amidst the current public health environment, we at Laurel Road are reminded of the gratitude and admiration owed to healthcare professionals who work tirelessly to keep us healthy and safe. We are proud to count many of them as our members. In 2020, we began several initiatives to show our healthcare customers and partners just how much we appreciate their service.
Reduced Rates for Healthcare Professionals
At Laurel Road, we provide some of the most competitive lending services for doctors, dentists, and physician assistants. To further help, we are now offering special student loan refinance pricing to these vital healthcare professionals affected by today’s global health crisis.[1] This special pricing could amount to thousands in additional savings, reducing the very real burden of debt felt by many medical professionals in these difficult times.
Partnering with Betterhelp for Online Counseling
In addition to their financial wellbeing, the mental health of our clients is also incredibly important to us. That’s why we teamed up with Betterhelp, a source for online counseling, to offer one month of free online counseling to Laurel Road members and prospects from March 2020 through May 2020.
And with our #SelfCareforHealthcare social campaign, we highlighted 4 remarkable healthcare influencers sharing important tips on taking care of yourself amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
‘Keep Your City Smiling’ Care Packages
Another way we have shown our support is through our Keep Your City Smiling initiative. With this effort, we are curating locally sourced care packages to support healthcare workers across several major cities, providing them with personal care items, relaxation support, food and snacks, and other small tokens of our appreciation.
Thank you to the many healthcare professionals who continue to show courage in the face of extreme hardship. We are fortunate to serve you and hope to bring you some measure of support as you continue to help thousands of Americans stay healthy.
