Laurel Road partnership offers new products at discount to further empower AOA members

These three new products offered through AOAExcel include Laurel Road’s High Yield Savings, Linked Checking, and a Student Loan Cashback credit card. Through AOAExcel, members of the AOA, notably doctors of optometry, can access tools and resources to take control of their financial health. With a high yield savings account, ODs can more easily plan for the future. AOA members qualify for $0 cost to open and receive a $100 cash bonus for opening an account.
When ODs refinance their student loans with Laurel Road, they will now have access to a Laurel Road Linked Checking® account to qualify for additional rate reductions. AOA members will automatically qualify for an introductory 0.25% off interest rate for the first three months (in addition to the AOA discount). Following that, the rate discount will vary based on their total qualifying monthly direct deposit amount, offering the opportunity to lower their student loan refinancing rate by up to 0.55%.
The Student Loan Cashback Card allows AOA members to chip away at student loans by making everyday purchases. This is the first credit card that lets holders redeem 2% cashback towards student loans with any eligible student loan servicer or redeem 1% cashback towards anything else. AOA members are eligible for a $100 cash bonus after activating.
